Lizzy is a Chicago-based flutist, educator, administrator, and arranger. As a performer, Lizzy frequently collaborates in ensemble settings spanning the genres of classical, jazz, musical theater, and VGM. She serves as a flute teaching artist for Ravinia Festival’s El Sistema-inspired programs and maintains a private studio on the north side of Chicago. Lizzy is also the Vice President and Industry Relations Chair for the Chicago Flute Club which supports a vibrant community of flutists across the Midwest and maintains annual programming with international reach. As an arranger, she enjoys reimagining classical standards and bringing nostalgic soundtracks to chamber music settings. She holds degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
A native of the Chicagoland area, Vincent cultivates community through his music-making. In his freelance work as an oboist, Vincent performs regularly with educational ensembles, focusing on community outreach-based events and engaging with students around Chicago, ranging from CCPA music students to local CPS art programs. As an alumni of the Eastman School of Music and UIUC, Vincent brings an interactive approach to classical music in modern spaces. His passion for community continues into his role in patron and donor engagement at the DuPage Symphony Orchestra, where he supports one of the most robust community orchestras in the state.
Jack Kartsotis is an Emmy-nominated clarinetist and educator based in Chicago. He serves as Principal Clarinet of the Owensboro Symphony in Kentucky and performs in orchestral, wind band, chamber, and solo settings throughout the Midwest. In Chicago, Jack owns a private studio and teaches at The People's Music School, where students have earned national recognition and top honors in prestigious programs. Jack holds degrees from the University of North Texas and Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
Christine is a Chicago-based bassoonist, teacher, and arts administrator. She is Second Bassoon with the Great Falls Symphony in Great Falls, Montana, and she maintains a private lesson studio while freelancing throughout the Midwest. She is an Associate Member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and has performed with the Dubuque, West Michigan, and South Bend Symphonies, among others. Christine also holds a position as Instructor of Bassoon at South Suburban College in South Holland, and serves as the Executive Assistant of the International Double Reed Society. Christine earned her degrees from the University of Michigan and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
